How To Register Device For Xfinity Wifi

Learn how to manage the devices on your account that are registered to access Xfinity WiFi hotspots by using the WiFi portal.

Please note you can simply access the WiFi portal when y'all are connected to the Xfinity WiFi network and have reached the maximum number of registered devices.

Managing Devices

If yous have reached the maximum number of registered devices and attempt to open up a browser, you'll be automatically directed to the Manage Registered Devices page in the WiFi Portal.

If you are the primary user or manager on the business relationship, you may:

  • View the registered device listing.
  • Remove devices from the registered device list.
  • Choose a name for the device with which you are trying to connect.

Removing Devices

If you've been automatically directed to the WiFi portal and desire to remove a device:
  1. From your desktop, click Remove.
    WiFi Portal - Manage Registered Devices page lists registered devices. Each device has a Remove button on right side of screen.
  2. From a mobile device, tap the Remove push button next to the device you lot wish to remove.

  3. You'll be asked to confirm your choice to remove the selected device. To go along, click or tap Yes, remove it. If you don't want to remove your device, click No, never mind.
  4. One time the device is removed, you lot'll see a confirmation message on your screen that reads "Device successfully deleted." You will also see the number of registered devices and the maximum number of registered devices displayed at the top of the screen.

Associating a User with a Device

You lot can use the WiFi portal to acquaintance a particular user with a device that is connecting to Xfinity WiFi.

Once you take deleted devices from the registered list and the number of registered devices is inside the allowed maximum, you can choose the user with whom to associate the device.

Note: The window below asking to "Please choose a user to associate this device with" is automatically displayed in the WiFi portal if the business relationship has more than ane Xfinity ID associated with it.
